March 5, changes to strengthen your writing

 Prompt: The changes I made to my writing was adding better vocabulary and making the sentences flow easier together. I noticed how my writing seemed choppy and I kept repeating the same thing in different wording versions. I went back in to get rid of the sentences that werent fitting in and even added more vocab. I also went back in to review the sentence structures and added words that would make the sentences flow easier. This is how I went back in to improve my writing

Today in class we worked on ai questions and our paragraph 

I learned that it doesnt matter how you start something, it just matters how you end or finish it. You could start something that could take you a little while, just as long as you made it due to your hard work.

Nov. 17, Bringing assigned letter to life

 Prompt: My assigned letter was letter 16, which is about Celie noticing how Harpo struggles with standing up to his father and inadequacy, all seen through her eyes. I tried bringing this letter to life by choosing quotes and lines I thought really represented this. I also chose the appropriate music to play in the background to match the tone of the quotes. Another thing was choosing the right videos to play that I also thought matched the quotes, making the audience see and imagine how the chapter went down. Throughout the project, the mood I was aiming for was pity and sadness, showing how Celie feels pity for Harpo that he is torn between trying for Sofie and still being in love with her.  Reflection: today in class we presented our Adobe Express Color Purple letter video  I learned that its important to show good emotion and expression through video creating and how it can make it look better. Dec. 16, Holiday traditions

 One tradition that is important to me and my family during the holidays is getting together to celebrate Christmas on the 24th. I find this important since we are able to all get together and celebrate just a day early and technically have two days that we celebrate. We open presents and wish each other happy Christmas once the clock hits 12, after that we stay and celebrate for a few hours then go home. Later in the day, now the 25th, we go over someones house and celebrate again, just talking and getting together again. I like this tradition and to this day we still keep it up, I love any chance I get to spend with my family and cousins especially during special times like the holidays.  In class we continued to watch the film and the worksheet  I learned that ìts important to cherish times with loved ones. How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on?, October 10th

 Prompt: Now that I'm a senior my days are always looking busy and stressful, now that I'm working a part time job as well, so it's important to find ways to stay stress free. The way I find time is to organize each assignment to 30 minutes (working one each assignment for 30 minutes). As well as taking a quick 5-10 minute break. I make sure to stay focused on this schedule I have so that I am not thrown off and so that each assignment is finished on time. I enjoy doing this and find that it works well for me to keep myself stress free in the last year of High School.  Today in class we took a test on the play "Fences" I learned that in relationships, both people have a role or feel pressured to be put into a role that may cause problems/arguments in the future. It made me think about future relationships and how I would make sure to push equality on both of us.
